We have seen too many pets left behind — so we decided to do something about it. Our founder, Dr Tommy, is a former AFCD Senior Veterinary Officer with 18+ years of clinical veterinary experience and 6 years in animal import/export control. In those years on the government frontline he watched families part with pets they had lived with for years because the process was complicated and the information confusing — and he took in some of those animals himself.
Canlife was born from that — “Canine” plus “life”, inspired by his own dog DonDon. Our position is simple: a pet is family, and family should not be left behind over a piece of paperwork. From the pre-departure veterinary check and line-by-line verification of every entry document to customs clearance on arrival and 30 days of settling-in follow-up, our veterinary team oversees every step.
Canlife is a member of ATA (Animal Transportation Association) and IPATA (International Pet and Animal Transportation Association). To date we have completed over 500 cases, covering more than 25 countries and 70 major cities worldwide.

The hardest situations in pet relocation: brachycephalic breeds, CITES species, unusual routes and last-minute emergencies. From veterinary assessment, documents and flights to clearance on arrival, we handle every item ourselves — you only need to stay with your pet until departure.
Challenge Walker developed a wound just before departure, and Air France cut its hold capacity to one pet per flight.
What we did Dr. Tommy examined and treated the wound on the spot, logged it for the airline, and we held the two seats already booked.
